Hi folks, my name is Mark Sing Gen and this is my Blog. I'm quite new to the blogging scene and so you will have to deal with the growing pains, hopefully it won't be that painful. As you can guess from my title, my blog is about my interest or no I should say my obsession with everything Napoleonic. My main interest is in painting 25mm miniatures, I have a collection of painted miniatures mainly 1815 French but like all miniature painters I have dabbled in almost every nation associated with the Napoleonic period. In my personal opinion "Perry Miniatures" produces the best 25mm miniature out there closely followed up by "Foundry" (it's no mistake that both companies miniature's are sculpted by the Perry Twins-of which I am one of there biggest fans!), and bringing up the rear, Front Rank. The rest as far as I'm concerned can't compare in quality, quantity of choice and overall feel, not that I'm putting down the other companies out there, it's just that's there is always the creme of the crop in whatever you endevour to do and these three companies are it, like I said before this is just my personal opinion. One of the first thing I'm going to try and do is figure out how to post some of my pictures on this blog, so I hope you enjoy what you see and read, and just like every French cavalry commander has said before me "CHARGE!".
