Well here we go, the start of a new campaign, my own personal "100 Days", lets just hope I don't run into my "Wellington" too soon. The pictures you see so far are from the "Perry Minatures" collection, which you can get at http://www.perry-miniatures.com/, I only hope I can do the miniatures justice. As far as what I know the perry brothers who own and operate their own web-site produce a 1815 French collection of 25mm miniatures, and as I've said before in my humble opinion are the picasso's of the 25mm Napoleonic miniatures industry. I'm a little biest, but then again who am I but just fan, it's just their attention to detail that I find so appealling, the figures take alot longer to paint if you want to do them justice but that's half the fun. Well enough of shamelessly plugging the "Perry Brothers". Here's a little background info. about me. I live in the Niagara region of Ontario,Canada. Currently I'm employed as a Dual Supervisor at a major casino in the province of Ontario. My hobby started as a little boy watching movies with my mom, who greatly influenced me as I watched whatever she was watching, which turned out to be the old classic genra. Right now I'm 36 years old and the movies back when I was a child tended to be made from historical stories, and from there it was a small step from watching "Waterloo" the movie to playing with toy soldiers, and finally discovering metal miniatures. As to what to expect in the future, right now I'm trying to paint the "72nd regiment" from "General de Brigade Campi's" 2nd brigade of "General de Division's Bachelu's" 5th division from "Reille's" 2nd corp. Like all Napoleonic painter's I tend to bite off more than I can chew, so I'm also working on almost every other aspect of "Napoleon's Grande Army"from his own personal staff all the way down to the lowly infantry grunt. As of right now I'm mainly focusing on "General Reille's" 2nd corp, as I've said before I've started the 72nd, I've also started to paint some of the "5th & 6th Lancers" as well as the "1st & 6th Chasseurs a Cheval" of "Pire's 2nd cavalry division". Bye for now and I hope you enjoy the pictures.
